	WHY WE INVESTED: When the “No Child Left Behind” legislation was passed, Dan and Jay began building a company that capitalized on this shift in regulatory policy. They wanted to hold educators accountable for their students’ academic progress so they built software to track student performance to ensure teachers were in compliance.
